UnLtd to pilot awards scheme for Indian social entrepreneurs

UnLtd – the UK-based Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs – is raising £300,000 to create a two-year pilot awards scheme for social entrepreneurs in India. The programme aims to provide 100 social entrepreneurs with a package of funding and support to start up and develop their social projects. It also aims to create opportunities for links and mutual exchange between social entrepreneurs in India and their counterparts in the UK. The programme will start this year and will initially be based in Mumbai.
