On 18 June the Fondation de Luxembourg joined the Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) network. After Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and Slovakia joined earlier this year, the TGE network now covers 14 countries. The benefits are twofold. It will help donors from Luxembourg to make tax-effective gifts to public benefit organizations in other TGE countries – this is done through the Fondation de Luxembourg and the home foundation in the other country. TGE will also enable Luxembourg NGOs to fundraise tax-effectively in other TGE countries.
