The next issue of Effect examines how foundations are embracing the concept of diversity, focusing on issues such as inclusion, gender, cultural self-determination, and ethnicity, and asks why foundations increasingly see the representation of diversity not just as the right thing to do but also as a way to boost effectiveness.
Our geographic focus is on foundations in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). As
the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall approaches, we take stock of how foundations’ work has evolved in this vast and disparate array of nations.
