Dasra: Indian non-profits join hands to accelerate family giving

With a shared vision of accelerating ‘family giving’ in India, two leading organizations have joined together to enable individuals and families to adopt a more informed approach to philanthropy and to make it their first choice.

Dasra has forged a partnership with non-profit organization GiveIndia, to build on synergies and unlock the potential of family giving in the
social sector.
Partnership announced at Dasra Philanthropy Week 2016: (L to R) Tarun Jotwani (Dasra), Deval Sanghavi (Dasra) and Venkat Krishnan (GiveIndia).

Partnership announced at Dasra Philanthropy Week 2016: (L to R) Tarun Jotwani (Dasra), Deval Sanghavi (Dasra) and Amit Chandra (Bain Capital Private Equity).

For interested philanthropists and families this signifies a credible destination where they can engage in more informed giving and have access to the entire spectrum of philanthropy.  The work of both teams complements each other with Dasra drawing on the breadth and depth of sector research (over 50 reports) and experience in scaling impact, and GiveIndia’s HNI (High Netwealth Individuals) team providing end-to-end assistance to philanthropists through a set of evolved services built through thought-leadership, research and execution support. This integration will help harness combined sector knowledge and a collective database of non-profits that will help create greater social impact.
