The complexity of the fight against obesity and sedentary behaviour, and the need for a multi-disciplinary approach, are the lessons of NutriRSE (NutriCSR), a public-private-academic associative project lead by AcciónRSE (ActionCSR). Throughout 2008, this project invested 1,500 million Chilean pesos, served 112 municipalities in the country, and directly benefited 157,000 people. Thirteen companies and six allied partners carried out 16 projects to fight obesity in workers, children and the community at large, within the framework of CSR policies.
