The 4th African Philanthropy Conference is scheduled to take place in Senegal from July 31 to August 1, 2023. Based on the theme of “African Philanthropy at an Inflection Point,” this conference will explore the vital dimensions of People, Power, Policy, and Practices. Uniting academics, practitioners, donors, researchers, philanthropy professionals and government agencies, the conference will encourage attendees to reflect on taken-for-granted narratives and encourage participants to design solutions for growing challenges within the African philanthropic ecosystem.
Alliance hopes to share the topics and themes from the conference with those who are unable to attend — and hear comments from those who are. We would love to hear which conference sessions you would be most interested in reading about. Please cast your vote below. One of our team will attend the session with the most votes and a full report will be published here on the Latest from Alliance.
