The global organisation Spring Impact has appointed Mohamed Osman as its new CEO. Spring Impact is a nonprofit leader in scaling social impact.
Osman was previously the organisation’s UK Director, developing and leading the UK’s office strategy and operations, as well as overseeing a portfolio of domestic and international projects. He succeeds Dan Berelowitz, Spring Impact’s Founder, who founded the organisation based on his experiences starting and working across a range of social sector organisations, and his frustration at seeing them not scale up. After a decade of leading the organisation, Dan Berelowitz will now be moving into the role of ‘Founder’ at Spring Impact.
‘I am extraordinarily proud of all that the Spring Impact team has achieved over the last 10 years. After a decade and so many wonderful stories and successes, it is now the right moment for others to take the mission to the next level’, said Berelowitz.
Osman has 20 years of experience of building partnerships, implementing and scaling programs in global health, social enterprise and humanitarian assistance across 25 countries. Previously the Global Grants Director at Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF), Mohamed spent a decade growing the Foundation to become one of the foremost independent AIDS charities in the world.
