China Environmental Grantmakers Alliance (CEGA) released its Case Studies Report at a COP 25 side event discussing nature based solutions to address climate change.
The event was hosted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) of China and was organized by the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC). Representatives from governmental organizations, international NGOs, research institutes, as well as environmental foundations were invited to discuss and share good practices of NBS in the process of addressing the climate change and pursuing sustainable development.
Cases included in this report cover a wide range of aspects, such as ecological protection, pollution prevention and control, climate change, dissemination and education, and environmental public interests lawsuits.
CEGA was launched in 2018 by China ‘s 11 most influential Environmental foundations, including SEE Foundation, Alibaba Foundation, Beijing Qiaonyu Foundation, Shenzhen Mangrove Wetlands Conservation Foundation, Lao Niu Foundation, Guangdong Harmony Foundation, The Paradise International Foundation, Vanke Foundation, China Green Carbon Foundation, China Environmental Protection Foundation and Friends of Nature Foundation.
