The Baobab Collective Fund is a new £3 million fund to grow, sustain, and strengthen Black and Global Majority communities that are resisting racial injustice in the UK. It will offer grants between £5,000 and £30,000 per year for up to five years.

The Collective Fund is an initiative of the Baobab Foundation, which is a pro-Black funder, with 70 per cent of its resources going direct to Black African/Caribbean heritage individuals, groups and organisations.

Baobab claims to be a people-driven movement which believes that the communities harmed by racism are best placed to create change, and so it aims to resource those with direct, lived experience of the issues they are addressing.

Black and Global Majority communities that are resisting racial injustice in the UK can register their interest with the new Collective Fund by 23 September at baobabfoundation.org.
