The £5,000 annual prize was established in memory of Olga Alexeeva, former director of CAF Russia and founder of Philanthropy Bridge Foundation, in honour of her memory and beliefs. The prize will be for the individual winner to use at their discretion.
Alliance is organizing the prize with the support of Charities Aid Foundation, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Philanthropy for Social Justice and Peace and Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
All finalists will be featured in a special supplement to be published in January 2018. The winner will be announced, and invited to deliver a keynote speech, at a global philanthropy conference in 2018 (to be announced). All finalists will be invited to this conference.
