Australian Community Philanthropy has appointed Gerlinde Scholz as new Executive Officer.
Gerlinde’s career to date has included senior executive roles at the University of Melbourne, a specialist medical research institute, and a family violence organisation and board appointments at not-for-profit organisations in the social services, environmental sustainability and women’s health sectors.
Originally from Germany, Gerlinde has lived in Melbourne since the 1980s. She holds Honours and Masters degrees from two Victorian universities and has completed a not-for-profit leadership executive program at Stanford University in the US.
Gerlinde took up her new appointment at Australian Community Philanthropy September 3 2018, and replaced the outgoing Kate Buxton, wo has been in the position since April 2018.
