Afropact, a podcast to cover pan-African impact and showcase African solutions to African problems, was launched recently by the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance CEO Frank Aswani.
According to Aswani, the podcast will seek to ‘change the narrative that [Africans] are not driving and shaping our own future and challenges.’
The first episode – featuring Seth Mulli, Director of the Allan Gray Makers programme – looks at youth unemployment in Africa and discusses the opportunities that the continent’s technical sector presents in advancing entrepreneurship, SME building, and job creation.
Anyone with suggestions for guests or organisations the podcast can highlight can get in touch at afropactpodcast@gmail.com.
