Continuing with its mandate to facilitate progressive dialogue and action within the field of African philanthropy, the 5th African Philanthropy Conference will be hosted under the theme “The Next Frontiers of African Philanthropy”, marking a pivotal opportunity to assess and shape the continent’s philanthropic landscape.  

Taking place from Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August 2024 at Elephant Hills Resort in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, the programme includes sessions on timely themes such as ‘Restitution of African Cultural Heritage & Reparations’, ‘Climate Justice – Just Transitions & Green Resourcing’, ‘Social Justice & Peacebuilding’, and ‘Feminist Philanthropy’ to guide their participation through panels discussions, workshops and community outreach.

Designed for academics, donors, not-profit organisations, government agencies, corporate entities, media and other stakeholders, the conference will offer multiple opportunities for shared learnings, innovative partnerships and inspiration for transforming African Philanthropy.
