I’ve just caught up with the interview with Jeff Bradach of The Bridgespan Group (Alliance, December 2021). It was very welcome! It’s great to see that new large, trust-based sums are finally moving at new scales. Here are some of the many questions I see arising for grantmakers and resource mobilisers:
- Does Bridgespan build technical assistance into the grants they help administer and, if so, how?
- Is Bridgespan considering what to do about the divide they may create by such large grants? Are there safeguards for the organisations’ ecosystems?
